Pressure reducing valves are used to help regulate water pressure within plumbing systems. If the water pressure is to high within a heating or hot water system, it can affect the overall performance and lifespan of the system. Pressure reducing valves are usually fitted on a mains water inlet, and will lower the incoming pressure and help regulate to keep performance high.
